As building codes become more and more stringent regarding the energy efficiency of buildings, it is becoming essential to use high-performance glazing. The wide selection of glazing available on the market can sometimes make it difficult to choose insulating glass units for windows or curtain walls. The Thermaspec tool allows you to visualize and compare the optical and energy performance of a wide range of insulating glass units.
Available from the Prelco Group website, Thermaspec allows you to:
• Calculate the optical and energy performance of double or triple glazings;
• Select from a wide selection of glazings such as low-e, reflective, screen printed, tinted, etc.;
• Compare the performance between several types of glazings;
• Download and print the technical data sheets of the selected glazings;
